The Higonokami knife dates back to 1896, originating in Miki, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Hand-made, each blade bears the metalsmith’s mark. A non-locking, friction-folding knife; the blade will not open until pressure is applied to the casing’s clever lever. Made in Japan.
