These lovely earrings feature glass beads in a triangle form representing stacks of rice. This collection was created to honor and beautify the souls of women who were migrated to America involuntarily from West Africa during the 17th and 18th century transatlantic slave trade specifically for their knowledge to cultivate rice for the American south's economic growth. Colors for the collection are blue, for the water used to grow rice. Green, for the rice plant and black, for the enslaved people who performed the work. Made in the USA.

Trecy Bleich makes all of her jewelry by hand in Atlanta, GA. She began making jewelry in homage to her mother, whose style she admired while growing up.
